Pedestrian and Cycling Survey – You could win a Fitbit Surge

The City of Vaughan is committed to improving healthy and sustainable living. Cycling contributes to this as it has significant community-wide health, environmental, economic, social and safety benefits. Help shape the future of walking, rolling and biking in Vaughan by providing your input on the Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan update.

The City of Vaughan has initiated a study to develop a new city-wide Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan. The study will build on the 2007 Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan and the 2012 Transportation Master Plan Pedestrian and Bicycle Network Plan. It will outline a strategic plan to “grow” walking, rolling and biking in Vaughan through the development of a brand, supportive municipal processes, policies and programs as well as a plan for the implementation of more comfortable infrastructure and connected network.
The intent is to inspire trust, confidence and collaboration among stakeholders and residents of Vaughan to build support for walking, rolling and biking in the City by undertaking a robust and transparent engagement process in the development of a new Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan.
