Clearview Park is Officially Open!
Ward 4 community celebrates new place to get active, play and relax
On Tuesday, September 20, 2016, City staff, members of Council and myself welcomed residents to the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the official opening of Clearview Park!
Residents gathered together to explore the features of the park which includes junior and senior children’s playgrounds with accessible wood carpet surfacing, a nine-versus-nine soccer field, and an asphalt court for basketball and ball hockey. It also has walking paths, shade structures with seating areas, trees, shrubs and perennials throughout the space, as well as an overlook perfect for nature spotting. Vaughan strives to promote and build a healthy and active city and that is why the City of Vaughan builds parks that offer residents of all ages the opportunity to be active outside and interact with their neighbours. I hope that everyone in Ward 4 will take the opportunity to visit this park and enjoy all of it’s amenities.
Clearview Park is located at 150 Via Romano Blvd., west of Bathurst Street, between Major Mackenzie Drive and Elgin Mills Road.
